I first went to Freaky Deaky (formerly known as Something Wicked) when I had just moved to Texas in 2017.

If there is a Speed Junior channel available somewhere (or better yet, a Jackass Channel aimed at the Amish market), FREAKY DEAKY would be a good fit, since the producers idea of fun is to blow up everyone but the bomb squad cop with explosions spaced about 15 minutes apart. 4 out of 7 found this helpful. The director Charles Matthau made this homage to the 70's filmmaking writing a screenplay based on the novel Freaky Deaky by Elmore Leonard. After being transferred to sex crimes from the bomb squad, Sergeant Chris Mankowski(Bill Burke) takes the complaint of Greta(Sabina Gadecki) who accuses millionaire Woody Ricks(Crispin Glover) of rape.

For me it was just an ordinary cheesy, sleazy, overblown and almost boring piece of work with no clear signature from the creators.

I once again must ask who I must speak to to get my latest wild imaginings put on film as this is a sure sign that they will make just about any piece of garbage into a film. This would be as good a movie as something like Pulp Fiction, or Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, if the dialog were less contemporary, or at least more contemporary to that time.

Michael Jai White has some entertaining scenes as a swindling bodyguard.
